When people visit distant lands, they bring their culture to the new land. This is how the fusion of cultures happens. Since Petpuja dot com is all about food, we will explore the fusion and differences between Indian and American cuisines. Indians are the biggest diaspora in the USA. Indian cuisine is known for its diverse and flavourful dishes. They use a wide range of spices, herbs, and vegetables. Popular dishes include butter chicken, biryani, samosas, and dal makhani. These are some of the most popular Indian dishes across the globe. Indian cooking also often involves traditional cooking techniques such as slow cooking and the use of a tandoor oven. I was driving through one of the by-lanes of South Bopal when this signage of " Purani Delhi " caught my attention. It was a new restaurant in this area (I live nearby) and there are not many restaurants in this side of the city. यह तो हम सब जानते हैं कि आदिकाल में मनुष्य शिकार क्र अपना पेट भरता था. कैसे हमारे पूर्वजों ने पका के खाना खाना सीखा होगा? क्या आपने कभी सोचा है कि सब से पहले खाना किस ने बनाया होगा और क्या? आखिर आज जो हम अपनी रसोइयों मैं ढेरों गैजेट्स के साथ तरह तरह के पकवान बनाते हैं, उस यात्रा की शुरुआत किस ने की होगी ? सच में अगर हम में से किसी ने हज़ारों वर्ष पहले खाना पकाने की शुरुआत न की होती तो क्या पता हम यहाँ तक आ भी पाते या नहीं. पर एक बात तो है कि अगर इंसान ने आग का आविष्कार न किया होता तो सोचिये जो दाल मखनी , कढ़ाई पनीर या मुर्ग मुस्सलम उँगलियाँ चाट चाट कर हम लोग आज खा रहे है वह न हो पाता। यह तो हम जानते ही हैं कि Humans को Homo sapiens भी कहा जाता है. पर क्या आप जानते हैं कि जब तक हम ने खाना पकाना न सीखा था , हम Homo erectus हुआ करते थे। खाना पकाने की कला ने जैसे हमें civilized यानी सभ्य बना दिया. आग का आविष्कार मानव उत्थान की एक बहुत बड़ी उपलब्धि है. पर इस जब तक हम ने आग यानि फायर पर काबू पाना नहीं सीखा था हम जंगलो से घास फूस , फल, अथवा बीज खा के ही जीवन यापन कर रहे थे। आग पर काब
